locality name 1) the name assigned to a conventional locality (place) for identification purposes; 2) a set of one or more name pieces as introduced in PS-RULE LP5 and defined in LP7; a l. n. may be one of the following: a) a specific locality name, e.g., “Cincinnati,” b) a native type followed by the adjective, e.g., “Puerto Rico,” or else c) two specific locality names set apart from each other by a separator, as in “Truth or Consequences” (a town in New Mexico) or “Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn” (a district in eastern Wales)
