1) the name assigned to a conventional locality (place) for identification purposes; 2) either a) simply a locality phrase by itself or b) one of either a locality type phrase or an inverted locality phrase together with the name of the locality type as defined in PS-RULE LP2; a l. n. p. may possibly be prefixed by an approximative, but is always part of a locality name hierarchy
