intergenesic interval

the time between any two successive birth events of siblings in a genetic family. The i. i. is sometimes called the "intergenetic interval." (Cf. E. A. Wrigley, 1973); I use the i.i. as a parameter for certain propagation rules, cf. RLG Chapter 1, §6 ¶12.
