in government and ecclesiastical titles the d. n. follows the position (and any nobiliary) whereas in the British nobility it may follow the title (and any nobiliary) as a territorial suffix;

2) the d. n. as part of a title may become part of a locality name as described in PS-RULE LP6, e.g., Prince of Wales Island, where Wales is a country in Britain for whom the prince was named, but the island in Alaska was named for him |
